A superb opportunity has arisen due to continued growth of Assets under Management to become the Assistant Financial Controller for this leading Investment Group based in the West End of London.

The group has a wide range of products and expertise in most areas including Hedge Funds, HFOF, PE and Property Funds.

Working within the Management and Financial Reporting function of the group your main objective will be to ensure the financial management processes operate smoothly throughout the business whilst acting as second in command for the group accounting team….

Your responsibility will be for the groups and underlying entities cash flow, Tax and VAT returns.

You will assist with the management of the group accounts area including staff and systems to ensure the accurate production of Management Accounts, Budgets and Strategic Plans, Statutory Accounts, Tax returns including corporation Tax and VAT for Auditors and HMRC, Financial returns to FSA and other Regulators and support in the management decision making for the group.

You will also be managing the firms banking relationships, monitor financial risks, production in the groups ICAAP, Statutory reporting, tax affairs and to support with book-keeping, payroll, treasury and taxation.

In return a base salary of £80-90K is on offer including benefits and bonuses.
