Leading Alternative Investment firm with a cutting edge Technology Infrastructure is currently seeking a Developer/Analyst Programmer to work within their Development team, based in the Channel Islands (low tax rate).

With the fund heavily reliant on technology to maintain its edge in the marketplace you will provide solutions to improve efficacy of the firms production system used by Trading Operations and Client services users.

You will be responsible for the delivery of fail-safe software solutions and code and analyse the needs and requirements of the existing infrastructure.

You must be able to:

• Manage data to deliver code accurately (C#/ASP.NET or VB) and on time.
• Transact SQL, relational database design and development
• Understand OO programming techniques and the system development life cycle
• You could be a developer with a minimum of 6 months experience with some moderate/good programming knowledge.
• You must have at least a 2:1 degree or better in a Maths, Physics, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience working within Financial Markets is key, experience working within the Alternative Investment Industry which would be highly advantageous.
• A competitive base salary is on offer with a healthy bonus paid quarterly.
