My client one of the most respected Hedge Funds in its field now require a Software Developer to join there expanding team of 13 developers.

The ideal individual will have around 3-5 years solid JAVA experience.

JOB SUMMARY:

•           Join a professional team of 13 software developers supporting the operations of a successful hedge fund business. Work on new initiatives with direct business interaction. Project length and complexity can range from a few hours to several months.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•           Work on projects focused on FIX feed handling, complex broker feed processing, and generation of data supporting daily trading operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

•           Strong academic background with a Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Computer Science.

•           A minimum of 5 years experience as a JAVA developer.

•           Previous financial services experience required.

•           Previous experience with Transact-SQL required.

•           Experience with FIX protocol strongly preferred.

•           Experience with automated builds a big plus.

•           Excellent communication skills and ability to operate autonomously.

•           Proven record of job stability and commitment within jobs and projects.
